Default What to DO

Okay below is a picture of a mini bike my son won. His is Orange. The fuel tank is fake. We would like to make it real or find one to replace that one in order to take the one of the top of the 6.5 motor. We use it as a pit bike at our mower races BUT he also wants to trick it out. Mowers I know, bikes I do not. Seems to be lots of experiance here in that area. Need your thoughts and ideas. We are not great at metal fab but make do with our mowers. We want to do alot ourselves but need some guidance may even a site where to buy some parts. he wants it to look good look like a bike yet be functional for a 13 year old. Thats my want... LOL Whats your ideas.

well G it depends on what kinda tank you want. they have some small mini bike tanks on ebay new for like 35 dollars. but they look kinda funky. or again you could get like a sporster tank off ebay.

I have 2 of the same bike. They are fun as hell in the community pasture. I was thinking of the same with the tank, you could go farther too..without having to carry extra fuel. I came across one guy on you tube that had modded the crap outof it. Tav torq a verter, tank, exhast, intake...the works. Also on the old hardcore forum a lot of the guys built their own tanks..bend the tunnel, round the sides. and with the baja mini tank lots of the work is done for you. The hard part would be sealing it upto hold fuel, and there was also some tank sealer that they would put in and swirl around to make sure. the good part is that you can still run the bike and work on one.

Keep an eye out on ebay or even local swap meets. I have seen sporster tanks and peanut style tanks sell for as low as $20.

Does bmikarts.com have any on their site?

Yea I thought about attempting to finish this one out to be a complete tank. It would require a cap and lock welded in also. But with my limited metal skills I figured I would prolly be best to find one to fit.
